The TOWA PDM-20-8 is a standalone power management appliance that allows up to 4 low-power AC charge systems (12 0V /16 A or less) to be charged off a single 120 V/20A circuit, utilizing a highly sophisticated algorithm to detect load and circuit capacity. Allowing the user to safely plug in multiple loads without having to worry about overloading the circuit.
The unit comes fully operational with no system software configuration required. Once installed connect up to 8 battery-powered lawn or shop power equipment devices for recharging. The load recognition software within the PDM will immediately sense and balance overall demand to keep peak circuit load to less than 16 A even with multiple power charge units connected at the same time to the unit.
The system is most applicable to commercial environments where multiple charge units will require charging, for example at shift change or end of the day. With the PDM unit, utilize the onboard load sensing technology to automatically switch power from charged units to units needing power rather than having to monitor and manually plugin and unplug units as they charge during off usage time.
